- This A4 size print uses a dry point etching print by the artist as a starting point for playing with text and lines in a composition centred on the word “Role” and what the notion of role plays in our world views.
- Words in visual art are not always an easy combination but here the background exudes a whimsical character
- The print has a personality despite being purely an abstract expression with spidery lettering and brings together the traditional printmaking techniques with an abstract embellishment possible through digital applications
- Limited strictly to thirty copies with each individually signed and numbered by the artist. These prints are produced by the artist on his own little printer using only quality cotton rag paper and quality pigment inks in the same direct manner that has been used for centuries by printmakers.
