Fine Art Print - Wistful Coast

Wistful Coast is a unique crafted print on high quality archival grade paper.  

The print is constructed from an iPhone snap of the Cornish coast near Marazion Beach in the UK.  In the distance is the landmark St Michael’s Mount, an island with a sprawling castle from the Middle Ages.  The island is only accessible by foot at low tide.   

The image juxtapositions sky and land through partial disassembly and as a bit of visual fun.  Meandering lines distract the viewer to consider what makes a scene picturesque and appreciate how momentary that might be.  

Limited strictly to thirty copies with each individually signed and numbered by the artist.  These prints are produced by the artist on his own little printer using only quality cotton rag paper and quality pigment inks in the same direct manner that has been used for centuries by printmakers
