Digital Art Print - Tangled Thoughts

An A4 size high quality giclee print of original art. This composition uses a photograph taken by the artist of a scene overlooking Lake Belvedere in Bicentennial Park, Sydney Australia, with Sydney Olympic Park silhouetted on the horizon. Both the parklands and the Olympic complex were built on remediated land formerly part of a rubbish dump, quarry and abattoirs.   The parklands were largely formed by rehabilitating a mangrove forest that had been partly prepared for filling and the creation of port related industrial uses .

The base picture has been enhanced by digitally sketching and reinterpreting forms, partly whimsically, to encourage our eye, and hence our mind, to follow the meanderings of the line as a contemplation on 

  Lying somewhere between abstract expressionism and surrealism this print looks to acknowledge our mind’s part in interpreting the visual world.   Limited strictly to one fifty copies with each individually signed and numbered by the artist this print is produced using museum grade paper and inks meeting current archival standards
