Path Way Maybe is a contemplative fine art print, crafted on archival-grade cotton rag paper and limited to just thirty editions—each individually signed and numbered by the artist.
The work begins with a humble iPhone photograph taken on Wann-gal land in Bicentennial Park, near Sydney. It captures a quiet path, receding toward an unseen destination—a passage both literal and symbolic. The track itself rests on a levee bank, once constructed to drain and transform the surrounding mangrove forest into industrial ground. That intent was never fully realised, but the mark remains, both physical and emotional.
Across this grounded image, delicate white swirls and wandering lines are overlaid—gestural echoes of loss, misunderstanding, and a quiet awe. They drift like remembered thoughts, threading through time. The path becomes not just a way forward, but a question—what have we passed, what might we return to, and what lies ahead?
Hovering between abstract expressionism and poetic realism, this composition draws on movement and memory, inviting the viewer to walk not only into the scene, but into their own layered reflections.
Produced with care on the artist’s home printer using rich pigment inks, this piece carries forward a centuries-old printmaking tradition—made modern through digital nuance, yet grounded in craft.
