This A4 print presents a haunting and contemplative image: a museum-held suit of armour, photographed by the artist and transformed into a meditation on absence, protection, and the emotional scaffolding we carry within. Like a discarded exoskeleton from another age, the armour stands empty—gleaming, hollow, and evocative—inviting reflection on vulnerability, memory, and the quiet drama of historical display.

Digitally reworked with gestural sketches and subtle distortions, the composition reshapes the cold precision of metal with whimsical and provocative overlays. Meandering lines ripple across the surface, suggesting that even the most rigid structures can be reinterpreted through the lens of thought and feeling. The result hovers between abstract expressionism and surrealism, using line and light to disturb our visual expectations while preserving the latent strength of the original form.

Strictly limited to thirty editions, each print is individually signed and numbered by the artist. Produced on archival cotton rag paper using pigment inks and a humble home printer, the work continues the tradition of hands-on printmaking—blending past and present, mechanical and emotional, surface and suggestion.
