Fine Art Print - Red Flower Glow

An A4 size high quality print of original art. This composition uses a photograph taken by the artist of a vine flowering in the garden.  The splash of colour and the sinuous nature of the vine provided the blueprint for an overlay of lines representing thought patterns of the observer. 

The base picture has been manipulated by digitally sketching and reinterpreting forms, partly whimsically and partly provocatively challenging our visual norms and presumptions whilst still acknowledging the underlying visual strength of the plant holding its flower up to the sun.  Lying somewhere between abstract expressionism and surrealism this print looks to reframe the sinews of plant growth by using meandering lines to echo them and acknowledge our mind’s part in interpreting the visual world.  

Limited strictly to thirty copies with each individually signed and numbered by the artist.  These prints are produced by the artist on his own little printer using only quality cotton rag paper and quality pigment inks in the same direct manner that has been used for centuries by printmakers.
